Wedding Activity Update 7/14/16

As the wedding is getting closer, I wanted to give you another update on our plans for the day.. 

First, we are so excited to have family and friends joining us .. we are 25 plus two littles - so it will be a fun group..  

I wanted to share a few more details now that we have signed some deposits etc.. 

Timeline: 

• So Wedding is at the Aria Chapel in the Convention Center - Please be there by 3:30.. it will start at 4:00pm and it will be a fast ceremony. 
• After the wedding, we will run for some quick pictures on property. 
• By 5pm we will be going to the suite for cake and cocktails. 
• At 6:15 we will head to the buffet for a group meal which include a welcome drink. 
• At 8:00 pm we will all board a party bus to head to the Pinball Hall of Fame.  We will have soft drinks, champagne and water for our guests. if you want mixers, you will be able to bring anything you want with you. 

We plan on staying at the PinBall Hall of Fame  http://www.pinballmuseum.org/ until about 9:00, then tour the strip and end up downtown at Freemont street. Those that want to stay and explore Fremont can stay for an hour or so and those that are "done" can head back to the Aria.  the shuttle will pick anyone who checked out Fremont and is ready for a ride back at 11:30 pm. 

We are not planning much downtime to return to the rooms etc because people are staying all over but we have planned a fun-filled evening and we are both looking forward to it.  There may not be dancing but there will be plenty to do and drink. I think we will have a fun time.   So bring comfy shoes.. (as a bride I am wearing super comfy sandals). 

Since we don't yet know the suite number and things may change while we are in Las Vegas, I have set up a remind account for our wedding.. (feel free to roll your eyes at my teacherness.. but it is a great tool that I use for all my classes).

It will reply asking for your name.  It may say, you can download the app but that is completely unnecessary, the joy of this program is that you can read its messages as text.  I use it for all my classes so it is an easy to send messages. 

This week will be a busy week - I leave for Germany on Wednesday and my friends from work are throwing me a shower on Monday!!!  

Before you know it, we will all be in Las Vegas and having a great time on our special day!
